Smoked Pork Tenderloin

Smoked pork tenderloin is lean, delicious and easy to cook in any smoker.

  • 2 pork tenderloins, more if you have a large family or lots of friends that like to show up at dinner.
  • Mayonnaise
  • Your favorite rub mix
  • Maple syrup(optional)


  1. Clean the raw pork.
  2. Remove as much fat and silver skin as you can.
  3. Rub the outside of each tenderloin with a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  4. Sprinkle with your favorite rub.
  5. Start your smoker for cooking at 225-240°F with indirect heat.
  6. If you have a water pan in your smoker, fill it up with water or liquid of your choice.
  7. Place the pork tenderloins on the smoker grate and close the door/lid.
  8. Pour 1 cup of maple syrup into a bowl for basting. Optional
  9. Baste the meat with the glaze every 30 minutes until it is finished cooking.
  10. 145 degrees is just perfect for pork tenderloin, do not overcook.  Remove from smoker.
  11. Important, always allow the meat to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
